Company Extrication Training

Taking advantage of the nice summer weather members of the Mutual Engine and Hose Company teamed up with the Rescue Fire Police to perfect our technique of cutting vehicles and removing patients quickly and safely. There are many things to pay attention to while cutting a vehicle, like where the air bags are located and where electrical wires are run. More importantly now with electric vehicles is knowing where the power supply from the battery is run and where not to cut the vehicle. Members were also able to use the new E-DRAULIC tools that have been placed into service by the Rescue Fire Police.
