On 9-11, The Mount Kisco Fire Department held their annual remembrance of those who lost their lives on that fateful day 21 years ago, including 2 members of our local community. Members of the community and surrounding fire departments gathered to listen to key note speakers, prayers and the ceremonial changing of the flag at the memorial site. Each flag that is raised has traveled to all 3 sites of the attacks, The World Trade Center, The Pentagon and Shanksville Pennsylvania. Following the ceremony, The mutual Engine and Hose company hosted a BBQ for attendees with live music from Mark Rivera.
