At 6:14pm on October 5th, the Mount Kisco Fire Department was dispatched to Brandon Dr in the Town of New Castle, for a reported structure fire. First arriving units had heavy fire showing from private dwelling and transmitted the working fire bringing in mutual aid assets to help battle the fire. Soon after command transmitted a 2nd alarm bringing in additional mutual aid from surrounding towns. A great stop was made by first arriving crews containing the fire to the garage area of the home with minimal extension to the basement.
