| 2017 National Fire Prevention week (October 8th-14th) has concluded for this year. The week was packed with activities such as visiting and teaching local schools and daycare programs about our equipment and fire prevention techniques, having an open house with various educational activities and demonstrations for both children and adults, we also had firetruck rides which allowed the public to experience what firefighters do every day, as well as school trips to the firehouse. It was a busy, fun-filled week for us and we thank everyone who participated. We remind and encourage everyone to practice fire prevention year round. For more information about fire prevention, click the fire safety tab under the public info section on the website task bar or stop by the firehouse for a visit. |
