On Thursday, May 25th at 11:59hrs., E103 was dispatched to the American Legion for a report of a transformer explosion and wires down. At 12:02hrs, E104 was dispatched to Emery St. & Mountain Ave. for a tree and wires down. E103 arrived at the American Legion and quickly determined that a transformer had exploded and a wire was hanging low but was not a hazard. Con Edison Electric was notified and requested to respond. E103 went back in service at 12:13hrs. Meanwhile, E104 arrived on scene and found that a tree had fallen into the roadway taking down power lines that fell on an unoccupied car. After barricading and caution taping off the area, E104 turned the scene over to the Westchester County Police and The Mount Kisco Highway Department to await Con Edison electric. E104 went back into service at 12:49hrs.
